The photos are a new writing exercise at the detention center. Volunteers bring in photos from around the world, some from Key West and include people unknown to the writers. The exercise is simple–write what you see without knowing the person or circumstance behind the photograph. As usual the resulting paragraphs are often funny and insightful.
