THE THANK YOU LETTER

It’s hard to think you did what you did

To think of the life you almost didn’t give

Since you had to give it, then took her away

I have to say “Thank You” for being that way

You forced me to have her, stealing from me that day

Breathed life in a womb I wanted kept empty

As much as your essence filled up my lil pudgy belly

That life from your body died soon after unwelcome entry

I never had a choice, but what’s there to give?

A soul from an egg, the DNA of a pig

Who am I to judge her to stay or to go?

She chose me, she chose us, for me abortion’s so low.

Time heals all wounds like the ones you dealt me

One day she’ll be mine again, one day we’ll be free

Try as you may shielding her in that tower

One day your snake witchery will hold over her no power

Take what you took, that’s just how you play

It’s hard to see ground for that high-horse I’d say

She doesn’t deserve what you’ve done to us

Between karma and dharma I rarely make a fuss

I hope she reads this and thinks of her Mom

Has she loved me so much and would sob in my arms

The day the tides change revenge will feel sweet

You on your deathbed, nobody caring enough to weep

The funeral pyre will seem such a treat… the laying of ashes

They’ll blow back in the street.  Our eyes will sting

And we’ll think how we’ve finally won. No! No!  We’re wrong!

See? It was you the loneliest here all along

It’s hard to think you did what you did

To think of the life you almost didn’t give

Though you had to give it, then took her away

I think I can forgive you, suffice to say

Here, my biggest “Thank You” just for being that way
