Closure

Closure feels so distant almost like

Watching a cloud of dust in the

Wind, spiraling past it seems so tangible.

I want to reach out and grasp it.

As I lose sight of it in the distance,

I realize the only way that I will

Have it is when I become part of it.

When I am yet nothing but dust in

The wind, even then will there

Ever be truly closure

  1. “…they only way I will have it is to become part of it.” Beautifully said and true. I live in Sandy Hook, CT where many little children were murdered a few months ago. Believe me, the people here understand that “closure” is just a word and not a reality.
